You might think that selling a mirror online is a pretty mundane part of life – but it has become such a phenomenon on the internet that entire pages dedicated to it have sprung up. 

It turns out that taking a picture of a mirror is nearly impossible – without accidentally taking a selfie. 

As a result, hilarious pictures have cropped up of people trying to take a picture of their mirrors, but not being able to get out of the way. 

A Twitter page dedicated entirely to ‘people selling mirrors’ – @sellingamirror – posts people’s creative ways to avoid the problem, and the team at Bored Panda has collated the best into a hilarious gallery.

It means people online have tried to get creative as they flog their mirrors – and with mixed results.
