Supercar driver Russell Ingall sells his immaculate self-built Gold Coast mansion for an impressive $6.9 million

Renowned Supercar driver Russell Ingall has sold his stunning Gold Coast mansion for what is believed to be close to its asking price of $6.9million. 

According to realestate.com.au, buyers raced to purchase the sprawling Isle of Capri property – and it was snapped up less than two months after it was put on the market in April. 

The 57-year-old built the impressive five-bedroom, two-storey home himself after purchasing a large block on The Promenade in 2020.

Details of the purchase are yet to be disclosed, however selling agent Marc Keswell of Amir Prestige confirmed the monumental purchase on Facebook as the home went under contract.

Keswell explained that the sale of the mansion is the highest sale price of a property on the Isle of Capri this year. 

The spacious property features timber columns at the front door, a double-height atrium in the foyer, large pool and a luxurious kitchen space.

It is also situated right next to the main river and provides scenic views of the surrounding area.  

Ingall originally bought the 720 square metre block of land in 2020 for a reported $5.5 million, after selling his other Isle of Capri property. 

The co-selling agent next to Mr Keswell, Amir Mian, also of Amir Prestige, said the property is ‘one of the finest on the Gold Coast waterfront.’

In April, Russell announced that he’d be making a dramatic return to Supercar racing after five years.

He last raced in 2016 at the Pirtek Enduro Cup after signing with Nissan motorsport.

Russell also raced in a super truck in 2018 at the Stadium Super Trucks event at Sydney Motorsport park.
