And as the Little Mermaid premiere rolled into town in London, as did its star-studded cast, as they took to the red carpet at the at Odeon Luxe Cinema in Leicester Square on Monday to celebrate the film’s release.
The films leading lady Halle Bailey, who plays mermaid Ariel, looked nothing short of sensational as she graced the screening alongside her glamorous co-stars Melissa McCarthy and Simone Ashley.
The premiere also actracted a host of glamorous celebrities, including actress Sabrina Elba, former Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore and new Big Brother host AJ Odudu.
Actress Halle, 23, slipped into a deeply plunging white dress which was the perfect choice for the evening, due to being inspired by a shell and featured dazzling diamante detailing all over.

In one image, Melissa was offered a helping hand as she arrived at the event by an unknown gentleman – who was possibly a member of her security team.
The Bridesmaid star’s look was given a very edgy finish with a pair of towering platform boots, which were covered in an eye-catching metallic pink print all over.

Directed by Rob Marshall, whose previous films include Chicago and Memoirs Of A Geisha, the new remake of The Little Mermaid boasts a glittering cast.
Hamilton alum Daveed Diggs, former child star Jacob Tremblay, Crazy Rich Asians actress Awkwafina and comedy icon Melissa McCarthy are all part of the project.

Rochelle and Marvin Humes made their appearance at the screening a family affair, as they were joined by their daughtera Alaia-Mai, nine, and Valentina, six. Their little boy Blake, two, did not attend.
The picture perfect family were spotted cosying up for pictures as doting dad Marvin lifted their youngest daughter off the ground to give her a cuddle in one of the photos.
