The Project guest Anne Edmonds storms off after Royal family tirade

Comedian Anne Edmonds stormed off The Project on Wednesday after screaming erratically, verbally abusing hosts and slamming the Royal family.

Appearing as her comedic character Helen Bidou from ABC’s Get Krack!n, Anne didn’t hold back with her harsh style advice on the show.

The funnywoman, 36, unleashed a bizarre tirade during the prime-time slot, announcing she hated the Queen and disliked Meghan Markle’s wedding gown.

‘Meghan, I hate you!’ The Project guest Anne Edmonds (who appeared on the show as comedic character Helen Bidou) dramatically stormed off the show after screaming at panelists and beginning a bizarre tirade about the Royal family on Wednesday night

Anne’s character Helen was the ‘fashion krackspert’ on ABC TV’s Get Krack!n, and Anne is touring Australia as Helen in a comedy show.

There were little niceties given from the comedian to the respected hosts, who were given blunt and rude responses to their questions.

Giving out her fashion advice without being asked, Helen first attacked Carrie Bickmore on her conservative attire: ‘Nice outfit. Sale at Sussans?’

Carrie appeared shaken by the comment, laughing it out in good nature.

'Look I don't like Meghan and I don't like Kate, because they're not a patch on Diana and they never will be': Project hosts appeared confused and shocked at Helen's outbursts during the segment, especially when she began an emotional tirade about the Royal family

'I will never forgive the Queen for what she did when Diana died. She didn't come out of the castle. She didn't lay a wreath!' Tearing up, she raised her voice and began yelling with passion when speaking about the late Princess Diana, before returning to her bubbly state within a few seconds of her outburst

Changing the conversation, Peter Helliar asked if Helen watched the Royal Wedding on Saturday between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

‘Yeah, yeah, I hated the dress. Where did you get that, Witchery?’ she bemoaned of the gorgeous white frock the former actress wore on her big day.

Helen continued: ‘Look I don’t like Meghan and I don’t like Kate, because they’re not a patch on Diana and they never will be.

Tearing up, she raised her voice and began yelling as she added: ‘I will never forgive the Queen for what she did when Diana died. She didn’t come out of the castle. She didn’t lay a wreath! The people’s Princess, you don’t know. Meghan, I hate you and I hate Kate!’

Putting on a bizarre performance, she quickly became her bubbly self once more, smiling and pretending the outburst hadn’t happened.

Insults all-round: During the quirky appearance, she also joked she had slept with Tommy Little, claimed she deserved Carrie's Logie and her spot on the Project, and insisted she was a better comedian than Tommy and Peter

At the end of the segment, she made a dramatic exit by yelling at the panelists as they attempted to get a word in.

Her last words to the cameras were: ‘I hate you! I hate Meghan, I hate Kate, I hate the Queen, ahhh!’
