Police launch hunt to find missing girl, 16, who hasn’t been seen since yesterday morning

Jamie-Leigh Linford was last seen on a street in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire at around 1pm on Monday afternoon

A teenage girl aged just 16 has gone missing amid a coronavirus lockdown.

Jamie-Leigh Linford was last seen on a street in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire at around 1pm on Monday afternoon.

Humberside Police said she was wearing a black coat, long orange t shirt, black jeans and black trainers.

They have asked the public with any information to call 101 with the reference 87 06/04/2020.   

It comes amid a nationwide lockdown over the coronavirus pandemic, with restaurants, bars and some businesses closed.

Police have ordered the public not to leave their homes except for ‘limited purposes’ including buying food, one form of exercise a day and medical needs.
